Women for Mission (WFM)
East Kilbride has an active Women for Mission group. The group regularly organise fund raising events and invite guest speakers to come to the church to speak about the work of their organisation or charity. Every year the East Kilbride WFM raises money for a variety of worthy causes, such as;

Dwelling Places an orphanage for street children in Uganda.

Something for Romania a charity which provides free homecare and palliative care for serious and terminally ill patients in Romania.

Blythswood who provide Christian care in Europe, Africa and Asia for body and soul.

Compassion who work through local churches overseas to release children from economic, social, physical and spiritual poverty.

In recent years over £100,000 has been raised by WFM groups throughout the Free Church for projects in India, Europe, South Africa and South America. If you would like to get involved in any of this work, please come along to the church and find out how you can help.
