Women For Mission (WFM) Meetings
East Kilbride have an active Women for Mission group. The group regularly organise fund raising events and invite guest speakers to come to the church to speak of the work of their organisation or charity. Every year the East Kilbride WFM raise money for a project chosen by the WFM Committee. In recent years over £100,000 has been raised by WFM groups throughout the Free Church for projects in India, Europe, South Africa and South America.

 

Health Matters Project 2008
This year, WFM are raising funds to help three vital health projects in India, Romania and Peru. The money raised will go towards buying the following;
- Ambulance and Steriliser for Lakhnadon Christian Hospital in India
- Toilet and Shower Facilities for children’s camps in Romania
- Clean Drinking Water for a village in Peru

The East Kilbride WFM will be organising a Bring and Buy at the church in November to raise money for this project, so keep checking back for the date to be announced!
